3 cops among 5 killed by Naxals

Three personnel of the Chhattisgarh Police were killed on Wednesday when Maoists triggered a blast and later opened indiscriminate

Three personnel of the Chhattisgarh Police were killed on Wednesday when Maoists triggered a blast and later opened indiscriminate fire just about 100 metre away from Gollappalli police station in Konta block in Dantewada district. In a separate incident,the rebels killed two civilians in neighbouring Bijapur district.

Police sources said head constable Ramesh Kujur and constables Santosh Yadav and Ashok Markam were killed.
