The Karnataka Assembly elections are scheduled to be held on May 10 and counting of votes will take place on May 13. The term of the current 224-seat Karnataka Assembly gets over on May 24.
We take a look at assets of some of the top candidates in the fray. Mangaluru MLA UT Khader has declared assets worth Rs 3.41 crore. His liabilities stand at Rs 69.80 lakh and has movable assets worth Rs 60. 23 lakh. Khader has filed his nomination papers from Mangaluru on Congress’s ticket.
Meanwhile, M B Patil has filed his nominations from Babaleshwar, the constituency he currently represents as an MLA from the Congress party. Patil has declared nearly Rs 96.2 crore in total assets while his liabilities stand at Rs 34.26 crore.
