US President Donald Trump Saturday said that even if courts decide to release grand jury transcripts related to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, “nothing will be good enough for the troublemakers and radical left lunatics.”

“I have asked the Justice Department to release all Grand Jury testimony with respect to Jeffrey Epstein, subject only to Court Approval,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.

“With that being said, and even if the Court gave its full and unwavering approval, nothing will be good enough for the troublemakers and radical left lunatics making the request,” he continued.

“It will always be more, more, more. MAGA!” Trump wrote.

DOJ acts under pressure

His remarks came a day after the Department of Justice asked federal judges to unseal grand jury testimonies in the criminal cases, following a request made by Trump.

The request, filed by US Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, marked a major shift for the Trump administration, which has been under growing fire from its own supporters after recently announcing that it would not be releasing more documents related to Epstein’s sex trafficking case.

That announcement, viewed as a retreat from previous promises of transparency, angered many within the conservative base, particularly given that Attorney General Pam Bondi had previously hyped more disclosures.

On Thursday, Trump said he had directed Bondi to “produce any and all pertinent Grand Jury testimony, subject to Court approval.”

The birthday note

The DOJ’s motion to unseal comes as the administration attempts to contain a controversy that intensified following a Wall Street Journal story published Thursday, which spotlighted Trump’s personal ties to Epstein. That report revealed the existence of a 2003 birthday album containing a letter allegedly signed by Trump, which included sexually suggestive content.

The letter, according to the WSJ, was framed by what appeared to be a hand-drawn outline of a naked woman and ended with the words: “Happy Birthday – and may every day be another wonderful secret.” While the outlet did not publish a full image of the letter, it reported the contents in detail.

Trump quickly denied having written the letter, calling it “false, malicious, and defamatory.” He said he contacted both WSJ owner Rupert Murdoch and editor Emma Tucker to inform them that the note was a fake.

“These are not my words, not the way I talk. Also, I don’t draw pictures,” Trump wrote on social media.

He sued Murdoch and WSJ on Friday, seeking damages of at least $10 billion in the defamation lawsuit.
