The postmark on the envelope is Virginia, not New York, where Jeffrey Epstein was jailed at the time.The return address listed the wrong jail where Epstein was held and did not include his inmate number, which is required for outgoing mail.The envelope was processed three days AFTER Epsteinâs death.

One of victims of Jeffrey Epstein, Haley Robson, who voted for Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election, now says she wants the US president impeached over his handling of the Epstein investigation.
"I redact any support I’ve ever given to him, Pam Bondi, Kash Patel. I am so disgusted with this administration. I think that Pam Bondi and Kash Patel both need to resign, and I would love to see number 47 get impeached over this. And I’m just waiting," Robson told CNN.

The US Justice Department released nearly 30,000 documents in the latest tranche a few days after the Trump administration earlier released thousands of documents related to deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The documents are being released as part of the new transparency law which was passed overwhelmingly by both the houses of the US Congress last month and President Donald Trump also gave his assent to it.
However, Trump has downplayed the importance of Epstein files, stating the material was "just used to deflect against tremendous success" by him and his fellow Republicans.

Epstein Files Live Updates: Why has Justice Department made redactions in the released Epstein files
Among the thousands of pages released by the Justice Department related to deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, there is a list of redacted pages and details. In a letter to the US Congress last week, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said that justice department can black out information in the files being released.
Blanche, on Sunday, said the move to redact information in the files is “simply…to protect victims.” The department is holding back information mentioned in the Epstein files which it believes would be protected internal information.
During an interview with NBC News, Blanche said, "We’re going through a very methodical process with hundreds of lawyers looking at every single document and making sure that victims’ names and any of the information from victims is protected and redacted, which is exactly what the (Epstein Files) Transparency Act expects."

Flight Records: An email sent by an assistant US attorney of Southern District of New York stated that Trump was listed as a passenger on Epstein's private jet for at least eight times for a period between 1993 and 1996. One of the trips included Trump, Epstein and a 20-year-old woman as the only passengers.
Unverified Tips: Some leads were gathered by the FBI that Trump attended parties with Epstein, however, the files do not suggest any follow-up or corroboration on the said leads, The Washington Post reported.

The name of the 20-year-old has been redacted by the department.
"On one flight in 1993, he and Epstein are the only two listed passengers; on another, the only three passengers are Epstein, Trump, and then-20-year-old," the email states which has been authored by an assistant US attorney, Southern District of New York.

The US Department of Justice (DOJ) has said that nearly 30,000 pages have been released relating to Jeffrey Epstein and cautioned regarding some of the pages referencing President Donald Trump without mentioning which ones.
"Some of these documents contain untrue and sensationalist claims made against President Trump that were submitted to the FBI right before the 2020 election," the Justice Department said in a post on X.
The department further wrote, "To be clear: the claims are unfounded and false, and if they had a shred of credibility, they certainly would have been weaponized against President Trump already."

Epstein Files Live Updates: Flight records show Donald Trump 'travelled on at least 8 Epstein flights'
The latest documents released by the US Justice Department has revealed an email sent by an assistant US attorney from the Southern District of New York on January 8, 2020 which states that Donald Trump “traveled on Epstein’s private jet many more times than previously has been reported (or that we were aware)."
The email further shows that Trump was named as a passenger on "at least eight flights between 1993 and 1996, including at least four flights on which (Ghislaine) Maxwell was also present."
The name of the sender and recipient of the email has been redacted by the US Justice Department.
