VIDEO: This Uber rider was caught STEALING money from the driver’s TIP BOX

Uber drivers have been in the negative light many times in the past. But, this time around, the tables were turned when an Uber cabbie got robbed during a trip. Apparently, a woman, who was taking an Uber ride with her friends, was caught stealing money from her Uber driver’s tip box on camera in New York. In a clip captured on the dashcam, she can be seen looking straight into the camera as she scooped out all the cash just before she and her friends got out. The girl used her scarf to cautiously steal the money when the driver was looking out through the window to search for an appropriate parking.

The driver realised it only when she left and was seen running after the girl. People have been showing a lot of concern and sympathy for the driver and the video has gone viral with more than 7,00,000 views so far. “Can’t UBER open an investigation because they have the credit card info used and find one of those people? If you don’t prosecute all the way, you’re hurting other drivers like yourself,” one of the viewers said.
