Kunal Kamra takes jibe at ZomatoOn Thursday, Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal shared that the food delivery company had set the Guinness World Record for the “largest first aid lesson at a single venue.” In response, comedian Kunal Kamra took a dig at Zomato over the average income and working hours of their delivery partners.
“Can you declare the no of delivery partners you have with their average income & working hours over the last 3 months? No you can’t But you can tell kgs of biryani ordered in one day. You’re such a hack bro…,” Kamra wrote on X.

Goyal shared a series of photos on X showing the delivery partners participating in the first aid class. “Yesterday in Mumbai, we broke the Guinness World Records for the largest first aid lesson at a single venue, together with 4,300 delivery partners. Over 30,000 @zomato delivery partners are now professionally trained to provide medical aid and help during critical roadside emergencies. Salute and a big thank you to these Emergency Heroes of India,” Goyal wrote on X.

With over 1,03,000 views on X, the post accumulated mixed reactions from social media users. While a section of users hailed Zomato for the achievement, many demanded health insurance for delivery partners. Reacting to Goyal’s post, a user wrote, “You are truly inspiring all entrepreneurs how to take care of our society while doing business.” Another user commented, “ye sab rehne do sir, health insurance de do “partners” ko (Let this be, delivery partners should be provided health insurance.”
“Give them the money they deserve,” a third user wrote. “Great initiative, Deepinder! This is an excellent use of resources for the public good,” another user said.
