Giant python rescued from agriculture field (Image source: @News1IndiaTweet/X)A video of a giant python, nearly 10-foot-long, slithering in a paddy field in Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh, emerged on social media. The video circulating online captures the dramatic rescue of the reptile by farmers.
According to the now-viral post by an X handle @News1IndiaTweet, the python was found resting while farmers were spraying pesticide in the paddy fields. The video shows farmers holding the python with the help of a sack and a thick rope, releasing it into the field. The python coils its body around the rope when kept on the ground, creating panic among the villagers.
“About 10 feet long python found in paddy field. The farmer spraying medicine in the field raised an alarm after seeing a python,” the caption on the video read.

On Monday, Indian Forest Service officer Parveen Kaswan shared a video showing two snakes that entered a house. In the video, the snakes can be seen entangled and slithering through the floor. Sharing the video, Kaswan wrote on X, “One of our beat staff got an SOS call late last night from a village. Imagine these highly venomous ‘Walls Krait’ locked in a duel inside someone’s bedroom. The snakes were rescued and safely released soon after.”

Wall’s Krait is a venomous snake found in Southeast Asia, particularly India, Bangladesh, and Myanmar.
