This man just crowd-funded himself a pizza!

Recent years have witnessed the growth of crowdfunding for various reasons — from sports, movies, higher studies, health, start-ups and what not.

But Siddhant Dand from Mumbai crowd-funded himself a pizza! Dand seems extremely honest in his description on a fund-raising website. “Hello friends, I am Siddhant. I am trying to raise funds to buy myself a pizza. It’s a small amount that I am targeting. I am sure, your support can help me achieve it.Thank you,” he writes as an introduction to his campaign.

Interestingly, he has already raised Rs 515, that’s more than his target of Rs 315 backed by five people for which he writes “A big thank you to my backers. I’ll probably upload the bill if i can. Cheers!!”
