Magadh University flags practical mark errors, subject selection glitches; reschedules exams
Magadh University has postponed the UG CBCS third semester (2024-28 batch) major course (MJC) 3 and MJC 4 examinations scheduled for November 25 and November 26, 2025. Now, these exams will be held on December 2 and December 4, respectively.

In its first circular, Magadh University has flagged discrepancies reported by several colleges regarding the uploading of Practical/ CIA (70+30) marks for UG CBCS students of the 2023 – 27 and 2024 – 28 batches.
Some colleges were unable to upload marks on time due to portal issues, resulting in errors in the published results of the first and second semesters. The university has directed the concerned colleges to physically verify the records and present them at the university office on specified dates in November 2025 to correct the mark-related issues. Colleges whose result disputes remain unresolved will not be entertained later, the circular states.
