Bengaluru, also known as the Silicon Valley of India, is known for its tech hubs and start-up culture. In recent years, people have started sharing moments that show the entrepreneurial spirit of the city and all the good, bad, and bizarre things that come under its ambit. These moments are often defined as ‘peak Bengaluru’.
Now it appears that an IndiGo Airlines ramp at the Bengaluru airport is pointing to one such ‘peak Bengaluru’ moment.
On Tuesday, Twitter user Pooja Singh (@pooja1place) shared a picture, reportedly from Bengaluru airport, that showed a passenger boarding bridge with the term “Common ramp for the founders and their funders” written on it.

Commenting on this post, a Twitter user wrote, “The ramp is in the same condition as founders and funders nowadays. Leading to nowhere 🤣”. Another person wrote, “Common ramp for founders and their funders 🤣🤣🤣 Customised caption on ramp. Now that’s impressive.”
Previously in May, another ‘peak Bengaluru’ moment created a buzz, after a photo showing a woman working on a laptop while riding a pillion on a scooter went viral. The woman reportedly took a ride on a Rapido, a bike taxi service. In April, a video from the Bengaluru movie theatre that showed a man working on his laptop while watching a film went viral. These posts triggered a debate on Twitter with many questioning the hustle culture, unrealistic deadlines, and work pressure prevalent in the Bengaluru workplaces.
