Amid the daily hustle and bustle, cooking may turn laborious for many and they either order food online or seek help from cooks. However, now, a cooking robot has grabbed eyeballs online as it promises meals as per one’s choice.
Shenaz Treasury, actor-blogger, took to Instagram to share a video featuring the AI-powered Nosh Robot Thursday. In the clip, she is seen showing a vessel containing food cooked by the AI robot. She says, “A robot that cooks food is now entering the kitchens of India.”
“Robots / AI are now entering Indian Kitchens. Is this incredible or scary? The founder is guju and he had the idea when he missed his guju food in bangalore and couldn’t find anyone to cook his guju food as well as his mum. So, he invented this robot 🤖 Are robots going to take away all our jobs? Leave a comment with your thoughts and a heart ❤️ so I can find more stories for you ;) #robotcook #aicooks #aifood #noshrobotThis one is called Nosh Robot 🤖 Look 👀 him up ;” Treasury captioned the clip.
However, Instagram users disagreed with Treasury’s claim that the AI robot can cook better than mothers. A user commented, “Better than mummy ka khana ??? Like really bro??? Ahan big no.” Another user wrote, “you lost me at “better than your mummy kana.” A third user commented, “Also u still need to add the ingredients, chop and marinate the thing it does it saute And add them at intervals …no thanks.”
When contacted over phone, Nosh robot team said that the product is not yet available in the market. The company is taking pre-orders and people have started using the product on trial basis. The AI robot costs Rs 50,000.
