The post claimed the incident happened on the Kaifiyaat SF Express.A video showing a man breaking the glass of a train door is going viral on micro-blogging platform X. The video, posted by a handle that goes by the username @gharkekalesh, has been watched over 2.9 million times by now.
As per the post on X, the frustrated man–who broke the glass–had a reserved seat in the Third AC compartment but was denied entry by allegedly ticketless passengers. The post claimed the incident happened on the Kaifiyaat SF Express. We couldn’t independently verify this. Judging from the video, it does not look like an AC coach either.
However, the Ministry of Railways has denied occurrence of any such incident.

In the video shot from inside a train compartment, the window of the train’s door can be seen shattering. It looks like someone was hurling stones at it from outside, as onlookers inside requested him to stop.
The incident is not recent but the video has gained traction. It has ignited discussions online, with many expressing concern over the recurring problem of ticketless travel and its ramifications on passenger safety and comfort.
In a post on X, the Ministry of Railways said that based on internal investigation, no such incident has been reported. It also advised people to refrain from sharing old misleading videos.

Ticketless travel has long been a challenge for transportation authorities, especially the Indian Railways, leading to overcrowding and discomfort for law-abiding passengers.
