When it comes to belting out rules with a change, Mumbai Police seems to be at the top of the game. While the police has been telling people to not break rules and abide by law since time immemorial, Mumbai Police, Bengaluru City Police and even Kolkata Police have found their resort in F.R.I.E.N.D.S, Narcos, Stranger Things and Game of Thrones’ references to tell people to be responsible citizens. Not only are they putting up campaigns to reduce drug abuse or to prohibit using phones while driving, they are managing to get people to chuckle while at it.
This time, Mumbai Police has emphasised on how rules are man’s best ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’ (Geddit?!) and with a GIF from Stranger Things advised not to succumb to peer pressure to try drugs.
These are the tweets.

This is not the first time and hopefully not the last time that Mumbai Police have come up with the sassiest ways of getting the attention of people to matters that are really pressing. Around Diwali, it was their Kuch Kuch Hota Hai meme that had got Twitter users talking. Earlier, many hilarious Game of Thrones’ references have also been made on Mumbai Police’s Twitter account.
