‘You listen to everyone, please listen to me as well’: Little girl from J&K pleads PM Modi to build better school

The clip shared by Marmik News on Facebook shows the girl saying in Hindi, “My name is Seerat Naaz and I live in Lohai-Malhar. I want to tell you one thing. I study in the Government High School. You listen to everyone’s matters, now, listen to mine as well. Modiji, this is our school.”

She then climbs the stairs and shows the principal’s office and the staff room. She then says, “The floor has become so dirty and we are made to sit here. Please make a good school for us.” There are cracks seen on the floor as the girl takes viewers to the under-construction building adjacent to the school.

“I will show you the big building in the school. See this…for the last five years it is being built,” the girl is heard saying. She then enters the building and shows the interiors filled with dust and cement.

Documenting the grim reality, she goes to another corner and shows the state of a toilet. A heap of sand and rock is seen adjacent to a pit containing water. The little girl says that the students relieve themselves in a nearby drain. The little child repeatedly pleads with the PM to build a better school for her.

Several users appreciated the young student and wished her needs to be fulfilled. A user commented, “Thank you beta , done a excellent job , Modiji will surely take care of your school.” Another user wrote, “You are brave beta. We proud of you beta.” A third user commented, “Great job beta.such a selfless demand hope your demand be heard.wish you best of luck.”
