Mahima Jalan, a New Delhi-based entrepreneur, has caught the Internet’s attention following a real estate mishap that put her Rs 10 lakh at stake. In a long X post, Jalan hailed the platform for helping her recover her money from a Noida-based builder.

Jalan shared that she, along with her father, invested Rs 10 lakh in a commercial project in Noida, which eventually got cancelled. The real estate company ignored Jalan’s follow-ups on getting her money back for four months. Jalan and her father also visited the company’s office; however, they failed to get in touch with the director.

“I emailed the director tagging all the authorities but no response. Even messaged their senior people on LinkedIn but no reply. We felt stuck,” Jalan wrote on X.

Many users urged Jalan to tag the director to prevent similar scams. “You should tag that director here so other people can stop becoming victims of scams like this if they don’t have following like yours,” a user wrote. “Wow, what a stressful situation! It’s inspiring how you persisted and found a solution. This is a fantastic reminder for everyone to leverage their networks and public platforms.
