PM Modi flags off Rs 15,400 crore development projects in Kolkata Ahead of the highly anticipated Lok Sabha elections in 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has embarked on a 10-day visit to 12 states and union territories (UTs) across India. Today, on March 6, 2024, Wednesday, the PM flagged off India’s first underwater Metro route in Kolkata, Majerhat Metro, Meerut-RRTS section, Pune Metro, and more, in addition to also launching connectivity projects worth INR 15,400 crore in Kolkata, which include the construction of new roads, bridges, and other infrastructure to improve connectivity in the country.
