Punjabi singer and rapper Sidhu Moose Wala was murdered in May last year but left behind a legacy with his songs such as ‘So High’, ‘Dollar’, ‘Jatt Da Muqabala’, and ‘The Last Ride’. His song 295 which was released in 2021 talks about controversies and how detractors use his name to claim fame and slap him with cases under Section 295.

Many people often pay tributes to Moose Wala by singing the song 295 as it resonates with what he stood for. Sakoon Singh, an author, shared a video of an elderly folk musician paying tribute to Moose Wala by playing the tune of the song 295 on a ravanahatha, an ancient bowed, stringed instrument.

Clad in a white kurta pyjama, the elderly man is seen playing the ancient instrument to Moose Wala’s song on the roadside at Chandigarh’s Sector 17 in the evening. “Sector 17, Chandigarh. Can you guess the tune?” Sakoon Singh wrote as the caption.
