‘He really has a super rich smell’: X user recounts her accidental meeting with Zayn Malik

Ever since leaving the boy band One Direction in 2015, British singer Zayn Malik has maintained a relatively low profile, with a negligible social media presence and rare public appearances. So his fans were surprised when an X user posted about meeting him at a McDonald’s outlet.

On Tuesday, X (formerly Twitter) user @vaneee2001 shared a picture with Zayn and wrote, “I’m so happy.❤️‍🩹I would never have thought that by going to McDonald’s I would meet the love of my life. @zaynmalik”. The tweet soon got thousands of likes.

The woman added that she was very nervous about approaching Zayn but decided to approach him since she was the only customer at the McDonald’s outlet. A worker at the fast food outlet took their picture.

An X user wrote, “That is a real smile on him 😭 Thank you for sharing your moment with us.” Another person wrote, “imagine just craving mcdonalds one night and thats leads you to meet zayn 😭😭”.

In a series of posts, @vaneee2001 wrote, “will answer some questions I have been asked. 1. What does Zayn smell like? He really has a super rich smell, Idk how to explain the smell but it really smells delicious.”

In another post, she wrote, “Zayn’s hair is beautiful and silky, and as far as I can remember he hasn’t colored it, only the light hit him very hard at that moment.”
