Health risks posed by popular coke drinks have quite often been a point of debate. Strangely though, a recent video shows a section of people working at a fake production unit of Coca Cola, cashing in on the large customer base for the top soft drink brand. The clip, posted by @somoynews_tv, features workers preparing the drink with readily available ingredients like cola syrup, water, and food colouring, and then pouring into the iconic Coca-Cola-labelled plastic bottles.

The video of the fake brand has ignited a fiery debate online.

Many commented on the video, where one user said, “To be honest, this is how Coca-Cola syrup looks like anyway, so same poison different hands.” Another user mentioned, “Make 2 3 more videos like this which people automatically start boycotting.”

The Coca-Cola Company itself has remained silent on the online controversy. A third user wrote, “But why do they allow this to be filmed 😕 thank God I don’t do soft drinks.” A fourth user in shock wrote, “But It’s label says “Original Taste”

The internet is abuzz, proving that even a soft drink can stir up a heated debate.
