Weddings in India are often celebrated with a lot of glitz and glamour. Many people splurge on their weddings to make them special and memorable, like this couple who booked an entire charter flight for their wedding guests. The couple even gave a dance performance mid-air during the flight.
Jay Karmani, an anchor and a wedding emcee, posted the video on Instagram in February. The video shows the couple dancing to the song ‘Maan Meri Jaan’. The bride Shrutika, dressed in a lehenga, grooved to the song with the groom Shubham Agrawal inside the charter plane as guests cheered them on.
Their performance was choreographed by Sumit Khetan, a luxury wedding choreographer, according to his Instagram profile. “That’s how you roll at 36000ft in the air,” says the caption of the video.

The video, however, didn’t go down too well with netizens. “Cringe level more than 36000,” commented a user. “Complete non sense ppl are getting onto,” said another.
“No that’s how you are disrespecting all our safety procedures and protocols……the blame would be on the crew for not being able to control the situation,” another netizen wrote.
In February, a viral video showed a ‘baraat’ going for a wedding on a flight that was entirely booked by them. A man from Nepal had booked the entire flight for his friends and family. The video of his wedding guests enjoying the flight was posted on an Instagram account @theshubhwedding, which was dedicated to the elaborate wedding ceremony of groom Bhuwan and bride Shagun.
