Watch: Bike-borne miscreants attempt to loot cash from petrol pump staff in Uttar Pradesh

A shocking incident unfolded when two miscreants on a motorcycle attempted to rob cash from a petrol pump staff in the Naugawan area of the Amroha district in Uttar Pradesh. The incident occurred on April 4, a report in the Free Press Journal said.

In the viral footage, shared by jist.news on Instagram, the two men arrive at the pump on a bike, pretending to fuel up. As the employee begins to count the money, the passenger suddenly attempts to grab the cash from his hand but fails. The employee manages to catch hold of the thief’s hand, causing the rider to lose control of the motorcycle. Other employees immediately rushed to the scene and overpowered the miscreants.

According to the viral post, the accused, identified as Danish and Farman, were later arrested by police.

Reacting to the viral video, a user took a jab at the Modi-led government and wrote, “Result of 2cr jobs every year, welcome to amrit kaal.” Another user commented, “Ohoo the last 2 blows! Lethal.”

As reported by the Orissa Post, the accused had earlier committed two thefts in Isapur village a few days ago. The two-wheeler they used to commit the crime had no number plate and has been seized.

In February, police at the TT Nagar station in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, uncovered a robbery gang that was planning to target a petrol pump as part of a celebration for the birthday of their gang leader.
