Amitabh Bachchan, with his indefatigable spirit, is a shining example of how age is just a number. Among the current lot of celebrities, he continues to lead the pack in many ways, and is known to work at a maddening pace. Apart from this, much like his younger peers, he is extremely active on social media. Not only does he regularly write his blog and pen down his musings but also has a staggering presence on other social media platforms. Followed by over 30 million people at the time of writing, the actor is quite a delight on Twitter.

From using the platform to complain about faulty phone connections to even teach a lesson or two to younger folks, there have been far too many times when the megastar won over social media with his tweets. Earlier this year he had taken to Twitter to remind and slightly embarrass Sonam Kapoor for not replying to his birthday wish. After her birthday, while the actress was busy thanking others who wished her, Bachchan had promptly tweeted, “… and what about ME .. this is Amitabh Bachchan my dear .. i sent you an sms on your birthday and you never replied ..aaarrrgghh !! Apart from being the ‘angry man’ he is also extremely humorous and does not stop from taking a jibe. After the Olympics, when author Shobhaa De had tweeted “Goal of Team India at the Olympics: Rio jao. Selfies lo. Khaali haat wapas aao. What a waste of money and opportunity,” the actor, playing on her words had replied “#PVSindhu .. aap “khaali haath” nahein, medal leke wapas aa rahein hain .. aur hum aapke saath ‘selfie’ nikalne chahate hain!!”
