AI art imagines ‘Game of Thrones’ characters seeking ‘moksha’ in Varanasi

If you have watched the American fantasy drama series Game of Thrones, you must be familiar with how the plot involved noble families fighting each other to gain control over the mythical land of Westeros. But can you imagine that the characters from the hit HBO series, like Jon Snow or Tyrion Lannister, will visit Varanasi one day in search of ‘moksha’?

An artificial intelligence artist has imagined such a scenario using Midjourney, a prompt-based AI art tool. The series of pictures show Jon Snow, played by actor Kit Harrington, Daenerys Targaryen, played by Emilia Clarke, Tyrion Lannister, played by Peter Dinklage, Cersei Lannister, played by Lena Headey, Arya Stark, played by Maisie Williams, Sansa Stark, played by Sophie Turner, and others wearing traditional Indian attire as they immerse themselves in various spiritual aspects during their Varanasi tour.

“Game of Moksh: Varanasi became the destination for the characters of Game of Thrones as they sought Moksha after enduring a series of epic battles. Images made using Midjourney AI,” says the caption that was posted by AI artist Sahid (@sahixd).

“I love all GOT character,” commented a user. “Great,” said another.

Earlier, the same AI artist had created a series of AI images imagining various Indian actors as elderly men. Actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Allu Arjun, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar and Shahid Kapoor had been given a digital makeover showing their significantly aged selves.
