Artificial intelligence has made giant strides in the last few years with tools like ChatGPT and Midjourney. From writing essays to taking exams to generating images showing implausible scenarios, AI now does a lot of things with aplomb.

Bindu Reddy, CEO of Abacus.AI, an artificial intelligence and machine learning platform headquartered in the US, decided to “take revenge” on ChatGPT. She posted a screengrab of the conversation she had with the chatbot on X, formerly Twitter.

Instead of asking a question, she told the chatbot, “I’m the GPT now. Prompt me.” It replied to her, “Sure, here’s your prompt: Can you tell me about the history of artificial intelligence?”

Reddy, however, said, “As a human, my purpose is to chat with you”. She also told the chatbot to refrain from asking questions related to history. “Taking revenge on ChatGPT!” she posted on X.

“That was brutal, and I loved it. Now make him give you $20 a month,” an X user commented. “The best prompt I have seen this year!” said another.

“We’ve been doing it wrong all this time,” another user wrote.

“The best revenge on AI taken so far lol, and then people would be asking why AI is a threat to humanity. This is the reason,” posted another netizen. “Poor thing tried to start with a simple question and you gave a savage reply,” said yet another.
