Shawn Mendes is known to be a multi-faceted artist. In addition to vocals, the Canadian singer-songwriter is proficient with the guitar, the piano, and the harmonium.

Now, a viral video shows Mendes effortlessly playing the harmonium and singing. The singer—wearing a sleeveless shirt and denim jeans—can be seen seated on a chair on the stage, giving a soul-soothing performance. Sharing the video, an Instagram handle @qualiteaposts wrote, “Shawn Mendosa vocals really coming through.”

With over a million likes and views, the video left social media users stunned. “Shawn in his nusrat phase fr,” a user wrote. “Jokes aside he sung one of the most difficult high notes very perfectly,” another user commented.

“Somebody wrote Ustaad Shawn Mendes,” a third user wrote. Another user called him ‘Shawnu Nigam.”

Shawn Mendes is set to perform in India at the Lollapalooza music festival next year. Lollapalooza is slated for March 8 to 9, 2025 in Mumbai. The singer’s performance will mark his return to the live stage after two years. The festival will also see performances by former One Director member Louis Tomlinson, Glass Animals of Heat Waves fame, EDM powerhouse Zedd, American DJ John Summit, rock band Nothing But Thieves and Big Boi, one-half of legendary rap duo Outkast.

On the professional front, Mendes released his self-titled album Shawn last month.
