A video of Aven Elsberg, a popular Canadian mountain biker, is raking in likes on Instagram with a video that shows him smoothly navigating an extremely narrow adventure biking set-up on a rocky mountain. Many onlookers cheer him on as he makes a smooth landing.

The thrilling video was posted on Instagram by Bikestable, an account dedicated to the cycling world. This clip has over 7.2 lakh likes.

Commenting on it, an Instagram user wrote, “Skills!”. Another user acutely observed how Aven humbly thanked his supporters at the end of his landing, “The casual “haha thanks” makes it 10 times better lmao”.

In August, Aven suffered a spinal injury while biking. “Aven had a crash last week toward the end of a Whistler trail he’s ridden many times. He landed weird on his head and neck, and has a cervical spine and spinal cord injury,” his family then notified his followers on Instagram.

“Aven had a cervical spine fracture dislocation and his cord was compressed at the injury. He had surgery in the morning and his bone was stabilized and the cord decompressed. He is still on a ventilator with a breathing tube but we are hopeful in the next few days he can get off the ventilator,” the family added.

In the next few posts, his family updated Aven’s well-wishers about his progress. On September 5, the biker shared a bunch of pictures from his rescue and hospital. “This is Aven posting. I want to thank everyone for the insane support. I find it mind blowing. I also want to thank everyone that I was riding with and the rescuers I wouldn’t be alive without you,” he wrote.
