“I was like, dude! Are you serious? Do you know how much this guy charges Dolly Chaiwala? 2000 dinars so Rs 5 lakh. This is roughly around 2,000 or 2,500 KD. That’s not it. 2,500 KD. Plus one person will come with him. 4 or 5-star hotel booking. He wasn’t talking to me, his manager was talking to me. He has a manager and this is for one day,” he said in the podcast.

With over 21 million views, the video sparked a debate among social media users. Reacting to it a user commented, “Can’t really blame him, dude. You just got a million views just by taking his name. He’s just really good at marketing.” Another user wrote, “This guy is making 2,000 KWD in a day, doctors and engineers make that in one month!”

“He thought since Dolly is an Indian, he can exploit him. I mean asking for 4-5 star hotel is not even a demand, it’s basic courtesy when you invite someone from their country,” a third user wrote. “Educated corporate guys crying in corner,” commented another user.
