In a new video, Baumgartner has shared details about the preparation he undertook to jump from the edge of space, 12 years after setting a world record with his jump. The video has now gone viral.
Baumgartner opens the viral video with the words, “I am the guy who jumped from space.” He continues by reflecting on the rigorous five-year training programme. He stressed the significance of communication with his diverse team, which included professionals from numerous sectors, some of whom lesser-known. Baumgartner described his first impression upon jumping as “freedom,” stating that the intense preparation had made him feel as though he was “in jail.”

Felix Baumgartner, who was born in 1969 in Salzburg, Austria, is well-known for being an incredible adventurer. He started skydiving with Red Bull in 1988. Notably, he was the first person to skydive over the English Channel using a specially made carbon fibre wing on July 20, 2003, marking a significant milestone in history. He has set numerous Guinness World Records, demonstrating his remarkable abilities and spirit of adventure.
