TikTok influencer Eva Evans, who shot to fame with her web comedy series ‘Club Rat’ on Amazon Prime Video, passed away at 29. The news of Evans’ demise was announced by her sister Lila Joy on Instagram on Sunday. However, the cause of her death is still unknown.

Sharing a photo of Evans, Joy broke the news to her fans. “(Y)esterday my family received news that our sweet, fabulous, creative, caring, hilarious Eva, my beautiful sister, has died.” she wrote.

“(A)fter 24 hours, i still find myself in a constant cycle of denial and acceptance, so i know how unbelievable and hard to process this news will be. we will be holding a celebration of Eva this coming Tuesday, 4/23, in the evening in lower Manhattan,” Joy added.

The news sent shockwaves among Evans’ fandom, who mourned her. “Jaw dropping news. RIP. Thoughts and prayers, she was a lovely person,” a fan wrote. “The loss is unfathomable, to those of us lucky enough to have known her brilliance and goodness, but also to the world, which is not the place it was meant to be without her. Godspeed, Lila, and love,” another fan sent condolences.
