At the Republican National Convention (RNC) in Milwaukee, some attendees were seen wearing makeshift ear bandages to show support for former US president Donald Trump, who narrowly escaped an assassination attempt on Monday, reported New York Post.
Trump appeared at the convention with a noticeable white patch over his right ear, where a bullet had grazed him during a shooting at his rally in Pennsylvania.

Another video on X showed a convention fan dressed as Uncle Sam wearing an ear bandage with the words “fight! fight! fight!” — the exact words Trump shouted moments after the shooting started on Saturday.

Soon after, others in the crowd began adopting the same look. The video has gained over 1.9 million views on X. One user wrote, “And I keep saying they just can’t get any closer to the Kool-Aid”.
Meanwhile, a second user mentioned, “Tell me this isn’t a cult.” And then, a third user added, “I wonder what they’d all do if his injury was to his lip..”
Just two days after the close call, Trump thrilled crowds with a surprise appearance on the convention floor.
