Loo and behold: Boston marathoner caught on video ‘pooping’ in private yard

The video, caught on a doorbell camera, was initially posted on a Boston subreddit before it was deleted. However, it has since been widely circulating across social media platforms. Earlier this week it was posted on Twitter by the popular account @BabzOnTheMic and gathered over 1.2 lakh views.

Other than the obvious outrage against the runner, many people also pointed out the phenomenon of ‘runner’s diarrhea’ which refers to the urge to defecate during or after long-distance running. Pointing to this, a Twitter user wrote, “Runners diarrhea is real. There is no holding it til the next porta potty!”.

Expressing one more sympathetic view, another Twitter user wrote, “As a person with MS, IBS, and no gallbladder, I feel for people with any sort of “issue.” Im thinking they wouldn’t have done it if they had any other option.”

A Twitter user wrote, “This is very sad and unfortunate. I ran this past Monday and Boston area fans are the BEST. I love they come out to cheer, rain or shine. This runner should know better and there were plenty of port-o-potties on the course.”
