Apple’s new AirPods Pro are being compared to cartoon characters, hair dryers on social media

Even though many were impressed by the advanced technology, people couldn't move past its design and many compared it to "wearing hairdryers" on the ear, while to others it was inspired by Bellsprouts.

While some drew hilarious parallels, others couldn’t stop photoshopping the new earbuds.

Tech giant Apple unveiled its new wireless headphones, AirPods Pro, which has an all-new design and a one-of-its-kind active noise cancellation technology that sets it apart from not only all previous AirPods, but also other headphones. But on social media, the appearance of the new headphones reminded people of different things and there were hilarious memes and jokes about it.

The new in-ear AirPods Pro comes with flexible silicone ear tips and its premium version is sweat and water-resistant. It’s also Apple’s most expensive earbuds till date and comes at a whopping price of Rs 24,900 ($249).

Even though many were impressed by the advanced technology incorporated in the device, people comapred its design to “wearing hairdryers” in the ear, while others said it was inspired by Pokemon character Bellsprouts.
