A gang of drug dealers lost cocaine worth around £17,000 after a group of wild boars destroyed their stash which was buried in a forest in Tuscany
The dealers had buried the white powder to hide it from the police. However, the boars sniffed and dug it out.
According to reports, the police came to know about the incident after tapping into a telephonic conversation between the alleged drug dealers, who were talking about the boar incident.
The police managed to arrest three Albanians and an Italian in connection with the drug smuggling. As per the police, they are suspected of selling drugs to the nightclubs of Arezzo regularly.

Though the wild boars helped the police with an unconventional drug bust, they have become a menace for the farmers in Italy. The animals have caused grave damage to the farmers’ crops and also reportedly responsible for around 10,000 road accident cases every year.
