The quick-commerce space in India is where all the buzz is now. The three main players in the space––Zepto, Blinkit and Swiggy Instamart––continue to add more features and capabilities to their apps to stay relevant and lure more users. Some of these features, other than enhancing the convenience of ordering, can also help save money.
Currently available in Bengaluru, Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai and Hyderabad, Zepto is the go-to app for many. If you are a Zepto user, here are five features that will come handy the next time you order.
Paying from Zepto’s wallet when you order can help you save money. With Zepto cash, it is much easier to make payments and receive refunds in case of product returns. One can add up to Rs 10,000 to Zepto cash at once, and this money will stay in the wallet for 12 months. However, do note that, as of now, you cannot take this money back into your bank account––it will have to be used to shop on Zepto.
With a limit of Rs 5,000, Zepto Postpaid works like a credit card. Users can shop for up to Rs 5,000 using this option, which is an interest-free loan that comes under the buy now, pay later (BNPL) category. Users have to settle dues between 15 to 30 days to prevent additional charges.
If you are getting something special delivered to a dear one via Zepto, you can further accentuate the experience by choosing the gift bag option. This will cost Rs 30 per order. When the gift bag is selected, the product will be delivered in special packaging. If you are an environment-conscious individual, you can also ask Zepto not to send a paper bag with the order, and instead choose a reusable bag.
If you are a coffee connoisseur or craving a snack, Zepto has got you covered. Currently available in select locations, Zepto Cafe offers a variety of beverages, snacks, and other food items, all delivered in around 10 minutes. With Zepto Cafe, you don’t have to wait for half an hour or more to fulfil those early morning or midnight cravings.
