Telephone Communication Limited, popularly known as TCL recently launched the world’s largest QD Mini LED TV in India. Dubbed 115X955, the company’s new model has a massive 115-inch screen and features over 20,000 local dimming, which enhances colour accuracy and reproduction.
Initially unveiled at the recently concluded Consumer Electronics Show (CES), where it garnered a lot of attention, the 115-inch TV runs on Google TV and features QLED Pro technology, which the company says offers a 98 per cent DPI-P3 ultra-high colour gamut. It also packs an AiPQ Pro processor that helps optimise the performance of the device and upscale the picture and audio quality.
TCL says the 115X955 uses its patented T-Screen Ultra technology and has a peak brightness of 5000 nits. As is the case with most premium TVs, it also supports Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+ and TUV certification, which eliminates flickering and lowers blue light emission. On the audio side of things, TCL has integrated the ONKYO 6.2.2 Hi-Fi system.
For gamers, the 115-inch QD Mini LED TV comes with a 144Hz refresh rate, Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and FreeSync Premium Pro. Users also get a Game Bar that shows the real-time statistics and Game Accelerator which optimises the on-screen images for fast-paced shooters like PUBG.
TCL 115X955 can be purchased from Reliance Digital, Croma, offline brand and retail stores and e-commerce websites like Amazon and Flipkart for Rs 29,99,990. As part of a limited-time offer, the company is also giving away a 75-inch QLED TV for free.
