Samsung recently launched a new external SSD called T7 Shield. The new SSD is almost the size of an ATM card and comes with an aluminum body. Designed for creative professionals and those on the go, it comes with 4TB of storage.
The T7 Shield SSD has a USB 3.2 Gen2 port with read and write speeds reaching up to 1,050 MB/s and 1,000 MB/s. Samsung claims that the new SSD is ‘9.5 times faster than external hard disk drives’, which makes it ideal for those who often transfer large files.
The portable ATM sized SSD also offers IP 65 water and dust resistance and can resist shocks from drops up to 3 meters. Weighing only 98 grams, the 4TB T7 Shield portable solid state drive comes with AES 256-bit hardware encryption and Samsung Magician Software. It can operate in temperatures ranging from 0-60 degree celsius and comes with a three year warranty.
Available in three colours – blue, red and gray, the T7 Shield portable SSD starts from Rs 30,000 and can be purchased from popular online platforms, Samsung retails sotres, leading consumer electronic stores and the official Samsung online store.
