Samsung India has officially confirmed the launch of its next affordable 5G smartphone — the Galaxy M14 in India. According to social media posts, the smartphone will feature a Galaxy S23-series inspired design, featuring a triple camera setup at the back with a 50MP primary camera. Like the other Galaxy M series phones, the Galaxy M14 is likely to remain exclusive to Amazon.
Samsung has also confirmed that the Galaxy M14 will have a 13MP selfie camera at the front. Other confirmed features of the Galaxy M14 include Android 13 OS-based OneUI 5, and the primary camera will have an aperture of f/1.8. On top of that, it is also confirmed that the Galaxy M14 will be powered by the 5nm Exynos 1330 processor and is likely to offer a higher amount of RAM and storage when compared to its predecessor — the Galaxy M13.
Lastly, the brand has also revealed the battery capacity of the Galaxy M14 and the phone is confirmed to include a 6,000 mAh battery. As of now, there is no confirmation if the phone will support fast charging. Given the recent trend, the Galaxy M14 is expected to offer at least 25W fast charging via the USB Type-C port.
While the Galaxy M14 does have similar specifications as the recently launched Galaxy F14, the upcoming variant has a few changes such as a triple camera setup. As per the official banned, the Galaxy M14 is also expected to cost less than Rs 13,999, which makes it slightly more affordable than the Galaxy F14, which currently retails for Rs 14,490 on Flipkart.
