OM SYSTEM also added that these products they are offering are built for wildlife, macro, birding, landscape, travel and street and urban photography. This launch also signifies their return to India, and Olympus added that they wanted to grow their network in the Asia Pacific region. The OM-5 Mark II from OM SYSTEM is an interchangeable lens camera made for outdoor producers who need mobility, performance in harsh environments, and dependability. The Mark II is designed to survive in any environment and is small, light, and equipped with splash, dust, and freeze-proof protection (IPX53, up to -10°C). It gets a redesigned grip for better ergonomics and a 5-axis image stabilisation system. And a new USB-C port for convenient power bank charging during long shoots. The camera also offers new OM Cinema modes for capturing cinematic 4K movies and incorporates the intuitive menu structure from the OM-1. It comes in three colours. With its Super Telephoto Zoom Lens, the new M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 50-200mm F2.8 IS PRO offer a large-diameter lens that boasts a constant F2.8 aperture and covers a broad focal range of 100-400mm and can be extended to 800mm with a 2x teleconverter. The OM SYSTEM family of imaging equipment now includes this model, which was designed in complete accordance with the Micro Four Thirds System standard. With up to 7.0 steps of correction and complete compatibility with 5-axis sync IS, it guarantees superb handheld photography even at very long focal lengths. Fostering a culture of photography, OM SYSTEM also announces its annual APAC photography competition that focuses on offering end consumers the opportunity to showcase their talent on a global stage. The contest will kickstart every year from October to January, with results declared in March.
