Meta first launched its 2024 edition of the smart glasses in collaboration with Ray-Ban in February 2024. Now, the company is introducing new style options, including Skyler frames, a low-bridge option for the Headliner frames, and customers can customise these smart glasses with over 100 different frames and lens combinations via the Ray-Ban Remix platform. Prices start from $299 (approximately Rs 25,000).

These glasses are powered by Meta AI (in the US and Canada) and offer features like a 12 MP ultra wide-angle camera, which can be used to click pictures, record videos, and now, make video calls via platforms like WhatsApp and Messenger. The glasses can also be used for regular audio calls and to listen to music.

Additionally, Meta is also releasing a special limited edition Scuderia Ferrari colourway for the smart glasses, which according to the company, will “bring together the legacy of Ferrari, timeless Ray-Ban design, and cutting-edge tech from Meta.” These glasses will be on sale starting April 24 in select markets.

Meta smart glasses are currently available in over 15 countries, including the US, Canada, Australia, and Europe. However, as of now, they aren’t officially available in India.
