Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta announced on the official Meta channel that Instagram users can now add up to 30 seconds of music to their notes along with a text message or an emoji. With this update, users can now share up to 30 seconds of audio on Instagram notes, which will stay active for 24 hours.

Notes is a simplified Instagram status feature, only visible in the chat section. Until now, users were only allowed to share text and emojis as notes, but now the platform allows users to share popular songs and audio bits from the platform’s vast music library.

Users can delete or replace these music notes anytime, and they can also select who can access these notes, including followers and close friends. At the time of publishing this story, we were unable to access the Instagram music notes feature on both Android and iOS devices.
