From smartphones and laptops to smart home devices and wearables, IFA has something for everyone who loves technology.
This year, IFA runs from September 1st to September 5th in Berlin, Germany. But before the doors open to the public, many companies will hold press conferences and events to announce their new products and services. That’s why we’re here to bring you all the news and updates from IFA 2023 as they happen.
We expect to see a lot of exciting announcements from IFA 2023, especially in the smart home category. Last year, IFA was the first major tech show to feature Matter, the new standard that aims to make smart home devices work together seamlessly. This year, we hope to see more devices that support Matter, as well as other innovations that make our homes smarter and more convenient. We also expect to see new products from big names like LG, Samsung, and Honor, as well as some surprises from smaller brands and startups.

Urbanista Malibu is the world’s first solar charging wireless speaker with integrated Powerfoyle solar cell technology. It is waterproof, dustproof, and made from recycled materials. It has a mobile app that lets you customise the sound and monitor the battery level. It also has a Stereo Link function that connects two speakers together. Urbanista Malibu is a sustainable and portable speaker that costs $149 and comes in three colours.
Danish audio equipment brand, launched Elite 10 and Elite 8 Active earbuds models at IFA. While the Elite 10 is touted to offer the best audio experience, the Elite 8 Active is reportedly the toughest earbuds that can withstand any condition.
At the ongoing IFA 2023, smart home robotics company SwitchBot unveiled its SwitchBot 10 - a new robot vacuum mop. The device which can refill its humidifier offers a hands-free sweeping and mopping experience. It reportedly drains, refills, and cleans water tanks autonomously using a water station backed by a battery.
The Lenovo Legion 9i is a gaming laptop that boasts a self-contained liquid-cooling system, a forged carbon cover, and a 16:10 Mini LED display. It runs on an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 and an Intel Core i9-13980HX processor, which can handle up to 230W of power. The Legion 9i is a wacky idea with super-cool features, but it also costs a whopping $4,399.
It seems everyone's launching a gaming handheld these days, and Lenovo is joining in the fun with the Legion Go, which runs on Windows and has detachable controllers. The device also has a high-resolution display, a fast SSD, and a long-lasting battery. Lenovo also unveiled Legion Glasses and Legion E510 headphones for immersive gaming. These products will be available later this year.
