Austrian luxury brand C SEED has unveiled a product that looks straight out of a sci-fi movie. The TV, which resembles a piece of metallic decorative furniture when dormant, magically unfolds into a massive 165-inch television.
Called C SEED N1 Outdoor TV, this piece of technology boasts a minimalistic floor stand that gives the illusion of a single, sculptural element in line with contemporary architectural sensibilities. That sculpture transforms to a towering height of three meters within 60 seconds. Then in the following 25 seconds, five MicroLED panels gracefully unfold, seamlessly forming a display sized either 165 or 137 inches.
One of the remarkable features of the C SEED N1 Outdoor TV is its ability to rotate 180 degrees, allowing viewers to enjoy the stunning visuals from different vantage points, whether it be the lounge area, swimming pool, or jacuzzi.
The seamless visual experience is enhanced by C SEED’s patented Adaptive Gap Calibration, which the company says eliminates any visible borders between the screen panels. Even if gaps are visible, dedicated sensors detect offsets between the panels, calibrating the MicroLEDs’ brightness accordingly to hide them completely.
For audio enthusiasts, the N1 Outdoor TV comes equipped with two built-in 100-watt broadband coaxial speakers, an integrated subwoofer in the column, and additional twin coaxial speakers in each wing. Meanwhile, the display features HDR10+ support, 16-bit color processing, 4,000 nits of brightness, a refresh rate of 3,840 Hz, and a contrast ratio of 7,000:1.
Designed to withstand the elements, the N1 Outdoor TV is weatherproofed with an IP65 rating on its MicroLED panel surface. Rain, seawater, or snow are claimed to pose no threat, allowing the TV to remain outdoors year-round. Advanced wind and temperature sensors further protect the TV from adverse outdoor conditions.
Engineered and produced in Austria, the C SEED N1 Outdoor TV is available in two sizes, 165 and 137 inches, and comes in a sleek titanium matt metallic color. Prices start at $2,33,000.
