Twitter rolls out home timeline feature for offline users

Twitter, in an attempt to enhance logged out user experience rolled out a home timeline feature for people across 23 countries.

Twitter, in an attempt to enhance logged out user experience rolled out a home timeline feature for people across 23 countries, who visit the homepage of the site on their mobile devices. According to the company, every month, over 500 million people visit Twitter for conversations around live events, breaking news etc.

With the new feature, users can now check news story as it unfolds without signing in. Twitter has enabled viewing and participating in real-time content for offline users. Twitter is also expanding its refreshed twitter.com homepage on web, which is already available in the US and Japan.

Users can explore different topics and stories as they occur, including the ones tailored for them based on their location and activity on Twitter. The countries where Twitter has launched the new feature are- Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, France, Germany, Japan, Kenya, India, Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Nigeria, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Spain, South Africa, Taiwan, the UK and the US.
