Facebook has announced that its messaging platform, Messenger has crossed 900 million monthly active users. Facebook has also announced messenger codes, usernames and links on its platform.
With 900 million monthly active users, Facebook wants to simplify conversations for its users with the introduction of Messenger Codes, Messenger Usernames and Messenger Links.
Messenger Codes: Facebook calls Messenger Codes as the easiest way to find people in Messenger. Even Messenger users can scan one another’s code to instantly start a conversation.
Messenger Usernames and Links: Facebook wants its users to share their user account online with their very own personalised names and links.
Facebook’s WhatsApp Messenger has over one billion monthly active users.
