Xiaomi today unveiled the Xiaomi 15 and the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, its newest flagship phones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. While the Xiaomi 15 is aimed at users who want a flagship phone at an affordable price point, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is for those who want one of the most advanced camera systems on a smartphone. From price to specs, here’s a quick look at what these devices have to offer.

Xiaomi 15 series specifications

The Xiaomi 15 and the Xiaomi 15 Ultra both feature the Snapdragon chipset, but the main difference between the two is in their size. While the former sports a 6.36-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED screen, the more premium ‘Ultra’ variant has a huge 6.73-inch 2K 120Hz AMOLED screen protected by Ceramic Glass 2.0.

Both devices come with HyperOS 2 out of the box and offer IP68 dust and water resistance. The Xiaomi 15 has a triple camera setup that consists of a 50MP primary shooter in addition to a 50MP ultrawide sensor and a 50MP telephoto lens.

However, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra has a quad camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, 50MP ultrawide lens, 50MP telephoto shooter and a 200MP periscope lens all tuned by Leica. Like most flagship phones, you also get several AI features like AI Dynamic Wallpapers, AI Search, AI Gesture Reactions, AI Art, AI Subtitles, AI Writing and AI Speech Recognition to name a few.

The Xiaomi 15 is available in a single variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage and packs a 5,240mAH battery that supports 90W wired and 50W wireless charging, The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is also available in a single 16GB RAM and 512GB storage version that is backed by a slightly larger 5,410mAh battery with 90W wired and 80W wireless charging support.

Xiaomi 15 series price and offers

Xiaomi’s latest compact flagship – the Xiaomi 15 is priced at Rs 64,999 and will go on sale April 2 onwards. However, if you pre-order the phone on March 19, the compact is offering the Xiaomi Care Plan worth Rs 5,999 for free and an additional Rs 5,000 cash back for ICICI Bank customers.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be available for purchase at a price tag of Rs 1,09,999, but those who pre-order the phone will be getting the Photography Kit Legend Edition for free along with an additional cashback of Rs 10,000.
