Samsung’s next Fan Edition phone – the Galaxy S24 FE may be powered by an Exynos chipset instead of a Qualcomm. According to a recent post on X by a tipster who goes by the handle #OreXda, Samsung will opt for its in-house developed Exynos 2400 chipset for the Galaxy S24 FE in the majority of regions.

However, some select markets may get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 version. The tipster also claimed that Samsung will use UFS 4.0 for the 256GB variant whereas the base model with 128GB storage may have the previous generation UFS 3.1.

As for other specs, the Galaxy S24 FE is said to pack a 4,500mAh battery and come with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM. The tipster says he is unsure if the Galaxy S24 FE will have a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen or a 6.1-inch screen size. But if we take a quick look at the previous generations of Galaxy Fan Edition devices, Samsung is likely to stick with the existing 6.4-inch screen size.

To give you a quick recap, Samsung launched the Galaxy S23 FE (review) in October last year. The phone has a 6.4-inch 120 AMOLED screen and is powered by the Exynos 2200 chipset. The latest Fan Edition device has a 50MP primary camera alongside a 12MP ultrawide shooter and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.

Since these are rumours, we suggest you take this information with a grain of salt as things may change down the line and we may see Samsung skipping the Galaxy S24 FE altogether.
