Samsung has launched the Galaxy On5 and On7 aimed at the budget market and targeting the young users. The phones have been priced at Rs 8,990 and Rs 10,990, respectively. There will also be an exchange scheme for those who wish to upgrade from older phones. One interesting feature in the phones is their Ultra Data Saving mode where Samsung claims the phones will be able to compress data streaming by up to 50 per cent. Galaxy On7 and Galaxy On5 feature a 5.5-inch and 5.0-inch Super AMOLED HD display. Both the new Galaxy smartphones come with an Exynos 3475 quad-core processor with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB storage, expandable to 128GB via microSD. [related-post] The new Galaxy phones sport a 13-mp rear camera with f aperture and a 5-mp front camera with f aperture. Both phones support 4G LTE. Galaxy On7 has a 3000mAh battery and weighs 172 g. Galaxy On5 has a 2600 mAh battery and weighs 149 g. Both smartphones run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. The new Galaxy On7 and On5 also comes with a mixed radio app and an intuitive media streaming app, which allows access to music for 10 hrs offline.
