At its current price, the OnePlus 11 is easily one of the best Android smartphones under Rs 40,000.

If you are considering purchasing a new Android smartphone and have a budget of Rs 40,000, the OnePlus 11, currently listed on Amazon for Rs 38,999 (16 GB RAM, 256 GB internal storage model) is the one we would highly recommend.

Despite being one-and-a-half years old, the OnePlus 11 (review) ––powered by the highly-capable Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 that can handle heavy gaming and multitasking––is a solid smartphone even in 2024, and can outperform all the latest smartphones priced around the Rs 40,000 mark.

OnePlus had confirmed four major Android OS updates and five years of security patches for the OnePlus 11 during its launch. It was launched with Android 13 and was updated to Android 14, and will receive three more major OxygenOS updates in the coming years, which should keep it secure and up-to-date for years to come.

While the OnePlus 11 was not known for its camera prowess at launch, especially considering its contemporaries like the iPhone 14 or the Galaxy S23, at its current price, the Hasselblad-tuned triple camera system with a dedicated high-resolution 48 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 32 MP telephoto lens clearly makes it one of the best in the segment, especially when compared to some of the other popular smartphones in this price range, which mostly include a useless depth/macro lens.

Other major reasons to consider the OnePlus 11 in 2024 include its large 5,000 mAh battery with 100W fast charging, a curved display with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate with Gorilla Glass Victus protection, and its premium glass-metal sandwich design.
