(Image Source: Flipkart) Nothing CEO Carl Pei recently revealed that its upcoming phone – the Nothing Phone (2), will be coming to India on July 11. Now, a landing page on Flipkart has confirmed that the pre-order for Nothing Phone (2) will start at 12PM on June 29. The company is also offering exclusive pre-order offers on accessories.
To pre-order the Nothing Phone (2), you will have to pay a refundable deposit of Rs 2,000 to secure your order. After you do, make sure to come back to the page between July 11 to July 20 and choose the variant you want to buy.
During this time period, you can either pay the remaining balance, claim your exclusive pre-order benefits or cancel the order. Pre-ordering the phone will make sure you get the phone before the first sale.
Those who pre-order the phone will be eligible for a 50 per cent discount on the Nothing Ear (stick) and the Nothing accessories package and instant cashback with leading banks. Nothing claimed that the upcoming phone features a 100 per cent recycled aluminium mid-frame, 100 per cent recycled copper foil and tin on the main circuit board, 90 per cent recycled steel in 28 parts and 80 per cent plastic parts that are sustainably sourced.
The Nothing Phone (2) might look like the Nothing Phone (1) with some minor tweaks like a curved metal frame and improved glyph lighting. It is also expected to feature faster wireless charging and improved water and dust resistance.
Carl Pei has already confirmed that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and sport a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint scanner. On the camera front, it will have a dual camera setup with a 50MP primary shooter and a 50MP ultrawide lens. The main sensor will reportedly offer improved low-light performance, thanks to a slightly wider aperture.
