Lenovo is rumoured to launch Moto Z series at its Tech World Conference on June 9. The device is likely to be the follow up to Moto X range.
According to rumours, Moto Z are likely to feature modular back plates and snap-on accessories. While LG’s 2016 flagship, G5 is a fully modular smartphone – Moto Z would more likely be a semi-modular phone.

Now ahead of the June 9 launch, MotoMods have been leaked by Evan Blass. The leaked image hints at a camera grip back that appears to have its own image sensor, flash, lens similar to a point and shoot camera. One of the leaked modular case hints at a kickstand while the other could bring hi-res audio support.
The Verge reports Lenovo could also offer a modular back plate with pico projector built-in. While there isn’t much detail about Lenovo’s upcoming Moto Z smartphone, we don’t have to wait too long for the official launch.
